POWER DIVISION

The power division was created to meet the requirements of low-power machines from a widely scattered rural population. It is worth mentioning that even today about three million people have no access to the existing utility services in Argentina. Therefore our systems are well suited to supply stand-alone power at remote sites such as rural schools, radio transmitters, water pumping, small villages, low-power applications as cathodic protection, etc.

WIND is a renewable and inexhaustible source of energy since it is generated by the sun when it heats large masses of air. Changes in air density set these masses in motion from high pressure to low pressure areas thus giving rise to winds.

Wind energy has been used by mankind since ancient times in Persia, Iraq and Egypt among other countries. Seventeen centuries before Christ, the Babylonian king Hammurabi designed a project of artificial watering for the arid Mesopotamian plateau by using wind energy. During the Middle Ages the first windmills were built in Holland, Italy, France, Spain and Portugal; they were used not only for water pumping but also for grinding grain.

The well-known "eggbeater" design associated to an electric generator began to be used in the early 20th C. as a result of the research work of the French inventor D. G. M. Darrieus. The Darrieus configuration marked the beginning of different types of generators used to this day for supplying electric power by transforming wind energy into mechanic energy and then into electric power.

  Technical Characteristics

Electricity

The eolic generators transform the power of the wind into electricity, which is completely free.

The EOLUX Generator produces 3-phase alternating current, which after being rectified and converted into direct current is stored in batteries, ready to use.

This Energy supports all appliances that are installed in your home, farm, etc.

An eolic generation system is consist of one or more EOLUX Generators with electronic controllers, depends on the power request.

If you wish to feed equipments with alternating current (singlephase or 3-phase) you should also install an inversor or U.P.S, between the battery and the equipments.

Applications

The eolic electronic generators are specially made for areas without electricity and where the winds are frequent:

Homes

Farms

Schools

Illumination

Appliances (TV, radio, wash machine, etc.)

Communications

Water bombs

Electric wiring

Beacons and signals

Outdoors illumination

Campers

Navigation

Advantages

  No Fuel is needed.

  Over 20 years expected life.

Resistant to extreme conditions of wind, hail, temperature and dampness.

  Noiseless.

  Non contaminating.

They allow working with submersible water pumps.

No braking needed during strong winds.

The modular construction allows power to be increased as needed without interrupting generator functioning.
